I'm Scott Ogle, a hobby photographer originally from Colorado who's lived in Portland, OR since 2016.
I got my first digital camera when I was about 12 years old some time in 2002 (an HP) to take photos of my friends and whatever I thought was cool. I finally got a "real" camera in 2007 with my first Canon DSLR and fell in love with photography, posting well over 3000 photos to flickr from 2007-2009ish. By 2010 or so I had found other hobbies and my camera began to collect dust. While I kept taking photos with my iPhone, I wasn't as obsessive as I used to be (for better or for worse).
Then in 2024, with a little bit more disposable income than when I was 19, I decided to get a "real" camera again and picked up a full frame A7Cii and some glass. This site is a home for that journey.

Why GORPCORP?
GORPCORP was my fake business, that briefly became a real business, and is now once again restored to its rightful status as a fake business. It's a little bit gorp, a little bit corp, all GORPCORP.
